At Hensting Alpacas, we are always looking for new ways to make your visit more exciting and memorable. With a major relocation and plenty of unique events, 2024 is shaping up to be a fantastic year! Whether you’re looking to connect with nature, enjoy a fun family day out, or experience something truly special, our upcoming alpaca walks and experiences offer something for everyone.

Our Big Move to Itchen Valley Country Park!

One of our most significant announcements this year is our move to Itchen Valley Country Park! Starting February 14th, all alpaca walks will take place in this stunning 440-acre park in the heart of Hampshire. This move provides beautiful scenic woodland trails, open meadows, and the serene Itchen River, making it the perfect environment for both our alpacas and visitors.

For now, while we await our official license approval, our walks will still be hosted at Kiln Lane, Otterbourne. We expect the final approval by February 14th, after which all walks will take place at Itchen Valley Country Park. Make sure to check your booking confirmation for the correct location!

Alpaca Walking Experiences – Available Year-Round

We are delighted to continue offering one of the UK’s most popular alpaca trekking experiences. Whether you’re a nature lover, animal enthusiast, or looking for a relaxing outdoor activity, our alpaca walks offer a fantastic escape into nature.

Morning Walks (10 AM - 12 PM)

  • Please arrive before 9:55 AM as the gates close promptly.

  • Enjoy a guided trek through stunning natural trails with your own alpaca.

4. Summer Sunset Walks – July & August

  • Our evening alpaca walks return for the warm summer months.

  • Experience golden hour with the alpacas, followed by a relaxing picnic in the park.
